What TABS is
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is a physics battle game by Landfall, a Swedish studio. It was in early access from 2019 and fully released on April 1, 2021, later coming to Switch and PlayStation 5. You get a budget, place wobbly units on one side of the map, and press start. Then physics takes over. Knights fall over, catapults fling people, and a farmer with a pitchfork might win the day.
The fun is half strategy, half watching. Most people search for games like it because they want more of that funny, wobbly war.

How to win more TABS-style battles
Put tanky units in front and damage behind. Shield units buy time for archers and mages to work. Spread out against splash attacks, and bunch up against single fast units.
Use the terrain. Hills slow attackers, and a narrow pass stops big armies from using their numbers.
