Valorant is a free 5v5 tactical shooter by Riot Games, released in June 2020. Teams of agents with abilities plant or defuse a bomb called the Spike, round after round. If you want the same tension on another platform or with a different twist, here is where to look.

What Valorant mixes together

Valorant takes the round structure of Counter-Strike, where you buy guns each round and one life matters, and adds agents with abilities: smokes, flashes, walls and heals. The first team to win 13 rounds takes the match. Aim matters, but so does using your abilities at the right moment.

It is on PC, and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series since 2024. Riot's mobile version launched in China first; check Riot's official channels to see where it is out now.
