Path of Exile 2 and Last Epoch are the strongest PC games like Diablo right now. On phones, Diablo Immortal and Torchlight: Infinite give you the same kill and loot loop, with seasons that keep coming.
The Diablo loop
Diablo is Blizzard Entertainment's action RPG series, started in 1997. You see the world from above, cut through demons in large groups and pick up gear with random stats. Diablo IV came out in June 2023. Its second expansion, Lord of Hatred, arrived in April 2026, and new seasons keep coming.
The pull is the loot. Every kill might drop the item that makes your build work.
Real alternatives to Diablo
- Path of Exile 2. Grinding Gear Games' sequel, in paid early access since December 2024. Its full release is set for December 11, 2026.
- Last Epoch. Eleventh Hour Games' PC ARPG, fully released in February 2024. Builds are easy to plan, and you travel between eras of the same world.
- Diablo Immortal. Blizzard and NetEase's free Diablo for phones and PC, from 2022. New classes have been added since launch.
- Torchlight: Infinite. XD's free ARPG on phones and PC, built around seasons, with cross-play between devices.
- Grim Dawn. Crate Entertainment's dark fantasy ARPG from 2016. You mix two classes into one build.
