The Flappy Bird story

Flappy Bird is a one-tap game by Dong Nguyen, a developer in Vietnam. It came out in 2013, went viral in early 2014 and was pulled from the stores by Nguyen that February. He said it had become too addictive.

You tap to flap and fly a bird between green pipes. One touch and the run is over. In 2024 a group called the Flappy Bird Foundation announced a revival, and Nguyen said he had nothing to do with it.
