Games like Marvel Rivals for superhero team fights

What Marvel Rivals does
Marvel Rivals is a free 6v6 hero shooter by NetEase Games, released in December 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PlayStation 4 version followed in 2025. You pick a Vanguard, Duelist or Strategist, its names for tank, damage and support, and fight on maps where walls and floors can be destroyed.
Team-ups are its own idea: some heroes unlock a bonus ability when they are on the same team. NetEase said in 2026 that a phone version is not coming soon, mainly because of the controls.
Hero shooters like Marvel Rivals
- Overwatch. Blizzard's 5v5 hero shooter, free since 2022. It dropped the 2 from its name in February 2026.
- Paladins. Hi-Rez's free fantasy hero shooter with card loadouts. Active development stopped in February 2025.
- Team Fortress 2. Valve's 2007 class shooter. Free, silly and still played.
- Valorant. Riot's 2020 tactical shooter with agent abilities. Slower, and more about aim.
Marvel games on phones
If you want the team fight itself on a phone, Brawl Stars is the closest arena game. For Marvel heroes, try these.
- Marvel Snap. Second Dinner's 2022 card game. Short matches, Marvel characters, and you win by taking two of three locations.
- Marvel Contest of Champions. Kabam's 2014 fighting game. One-on-one fights with a huge Marvel roster.
- Marvel Strike Force. A 2018 squad RPG, now run by Scopely. Build teams of heroes and villains.
