Going Balls is a mobile obstacle game by Supersonic Studios, released in 2021. You drag your finger to roll a ball along tracks in the sky, past moving walls, gaps and ramps. Fall off and you go back to the last checkpoint. Coins unlock new ball skins.

The fun is in the near misses. A track that is just wide enough makes every turn feel like a small win.

Slope. A fast ball run down a neon slope. It is all speed and dodging, with no checkpoints, so one mistake ends the run.

How to get better at ball courses

Look further ahead than you think. Most falls happen because you react to the gap in front of you instead of the turn after it.

Use small moves. On narrow tracks, short drags work better than big swipes. And slow down before jumps when the game lets you, since a good landing beats a fast one.

Roam is a free iPhone app with thousands of short games. These four keep you on a track and away from the edge.

Roll or Splat. Roll a watermelon home along a physics course. Do not fall, or it splats.
Don't Drop the Ball. A bowling ball on a narrow track with a long fall on both sides.
Roll Don't Fall. Stay on the track and beat the other balls to the finish.
Outrun the Marbles. A wall of marbles is right behind you. Run and dodge before it catches up.
