Climbing games like Only Up

Jump King, Getting Over It and Pogostuck are the classic climbs like Only Up. Tower of Hell is the Roblox version. Roam has five climbing games for iPhone, from a sky city to a junk tower.

What Only Up was

Only Up! is a 2023 climbing game by SCKR Games. One long climb into the sky, through floating junk and buildings, with no checkpoints. It went viral on Twitch, then its developer pulled it from Steam later that year.

The fun was the fall. One missed jump could cost an hour, and watching that happen live made it a hit.

Ranked by how much they hurt

Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy. The hardest. A man in a pot with a hammer. On PC and phones.
Jump King. Charge a jump, fall the whole screen. Hard, but fair.
Pogostuck: Rage With Your Friends. Pogo-stick climbing with other players on the same mountain.
Tower of Hell (Roblox). A random tower every round, no checkpoints, a timer. Free and quick.
Chained Together. Co-op climbing chained to friends. One fall drags everyone.

Free and multiplayer options
